Bamboo Houses After the Earthquake

It's a project of IOM in 2006 after earthquake hitting West Sumatra.

Now people can live save body and soul, even though it is in three times four meters bamboo house.

I am proud that I involved in the project of getting people out of tent.














It must take times for them to build permanent house. Before having one, they happy enough to get bamboo house. They even consider that's gonna be permanent for them.


"I do not think we can build permanent house within five years to come. This one is our permanent house," said a beneficiary...

Bukittinggi Busuk

Inilah ironi sebuah kota wisata. Bukittinggi yang dulu terkenal bersih, sejuk dan nyaman dikunjungi sekarang mengalamai penurunan kualitas. Setelah sempat terkendala pembuangan sampah di TPA, wajah Bukittinggi betul-betul semrawut.

Di tiap sudut kota tampak unggukan sampah. Malah, di sekitar tugu Piala Adipura, sampah berserakan hingga sampai ke tengah jalan. Tidak hanya itu, sampah-sampah pun membuat Bukittinggi jadi busuk. Kejadian ini berlangsung pertengahan September 2007.

On Photography Exhibition

It was just a remarkable coincidence to be picked as a "model" for photography exhibition in Utrecht University. Not for money but simply for being noticed!
